From Black Thumbs to a Magical School Garden
Teachers Garden Club is the best online program for elementary teachers (grades 1 to 8) to grow magically successful & easily sustainable school gardens.
The assistance on setting up a school garden - knowing what to plant and how to harvest - learning about a sub-irrigation system and the importance of starting indoors and hardening off were the parts I really enjoyed in the program. It was really helpful to have the peace of mind and to know that I don't have to have the entire plan ready. I just followed the weekly assignments and worried about nothing else.
Laura Tzogas, Grade 3 Teacher
Loved how interactive the lessons were. allowing and encouraging my students to get their hands dirty. And the results were amazing when we came back to school in fall! Wow... we were all very impressed with how the garden turned out. The community engagement plan that we got in the program and used to engage the community obviously worked really well. I was away the entire summer and I can't believe how well the community took care of the garden for us. AMAZING!

My passion is to make School Gardens happen, but not at any cost!
I'm on a mission to put a school garden in every school, with ease for the teachers and fun and tons of learning for the students.
I have been building school gardens in private and public schools and training and supporting teachers to do it with ease, onsite and online, since 2013, with raving success!
I am the creator of D.C.P. School Gardening Formula which is the result of my years of experience and my Major Project Research on the obstacles in the way of school gardening, developed during my Masters in Environmental Studies. My focus was, is and always will be on food justice and my bet is on education!
What if I do some research and figure this out on my own before it's time to grow the garden?
I don't recommend this not just because I want you to join us, but because I want to save you from frustration and disappointment.
underestimating growing a school garden usually results in
1. No school garden at all or...
2. A school garden that's abandoned after a season or two due to overwhelm.
You don't have to learn this the hard way!
How much time do you estimate you will need to spend on researching this in the ocean of internet filled with contradicting mix of good and bad advice? And how much do you value your personal time?
The truth is no matter how much time you spend, all the good advice you find, put together, won't possibly give you a proven step by step plan that's coherent and guaranteed to work.
How about paying only 60 cents a day and receiving a step by step proven system of design, curriculum and planning with 24/7 email support, once a month live q&a, seasonal 1-on-1 coaching and the community of like-minded teachers from all over the world?
Who's the Teachers Garden Club for?
Elementary teachers who want a school garden that comes with ease, are willing to let go of their fears, and step forward to make it happen.
It’s not for those who just want to grow a few seeds into seedlings and then send them off home or sell them for fundraising or anything like that. You can do that by yourself. You don’t need to join this club and pay me for it. We will be building school gardens that produce food at the school in this club.
It’s also not for anyone who just wants to “kind of” check things out. You can’t “kind of” grow a successful school garden that’s easily sustainable for years. Getting these types of results takes a commitment to succeed.
Teachers Garden Club is for teachers who are committed to doing what it takes to grow a magical school garden, which surprisingly is not much about hard work than about the right mindset. If the intention and right attitude isn’t there, this isn’t the program for you and it’s best not to join.
If you are not willing to put it the work, which is usually about staying positive and having your eyes on the solutions and not get distracted by the problems, this is not going to work for you no matter how many gardening techniques and tricks I teach you.
Is there a long-term commitment or contract?
There is no long-term commitment. No matter which plan you choose, monthly or annually, you can cancel at any time and pay no more. You will have access to the material to the end of the period in your chosen plan that you have paid for (end of the month or end of the year).
Can I access the material that was released during my membership, once I cancel?
You will have access to all material inside the club during the life of your membership. If you cancel you will no longer have access to that content.
Can I enroll as monthly and then switch to annual?
Yes! You have the option to switch to annual plan for 3 moths, and still get the 2 months discount. After 3 months then you will have to stay with the monthly plan.
What if I have more questions?
I'm here for you. Just email me at Leilam@kidsgrowingcity.ca and I will answer your questions as soon as possible.
